Teriyaki Sauce
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon minced ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 Tablespoon corn starch
- 1/4 cup water
Chicken Casserole
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350*F
- In a bowl add soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, black pepper and corn starch (all the teriyaki sauce ingredients) in a bowl and mix well.
- Cut chicken breast into bite sized pieces and place into a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- Add 5 Tablespoons on the chicken, mix well and bake for 20 minutes
- Meanwhile, heat a nonstick skillet with oil on medium high heat. Sauté the carrots, and broccoli until fragrant.
- Remove the baking dish from the oven, add rice and vegetables with the rest of the sauce. Bake for another 10-15 minutes. Until rice heated through.
- Remove and garnish with green onions. Serve.
