This Chocolate Chip Cheese Ball is my number one weapon when it comes to party food.

My husband and I are addicted to this cheese ball.

We cannot get enough of it and you’ll usually find us at the table where this cheese ball sits, digging in.

Most people have never had a dessert cheese ball.

From the outside, it looks like a traditional and typical cheese ball.

However, once you get past the pecan coating, you’ll dig into find the yummiest cheesecake like substance stuffed full of chocolate chips.

It’s been dubbed the Cookie Dough Cheesecake Cheese Ball by those who have had it.

They say {and I agree} that this tastes a LOT like cookie dough except creamier and without the flour!

This tasty treatl will have your taste buds tingling with excitement and begging for more.

My favorite part is that when people realize there are chocolate chips inside, they STILL don’t realize what it is.

Generally speaking, most people get a little weirded out and walk away.

This is A-OK with me because that just means more for us!

However, once people realize how tasty it is, you’ll always go home with an empty plate.

Out of all the appetizers and snacks I can take to an event, this is my #1 choice.

Those who have had it, will request it, and those who have not, will be pleasantly surprised by it.

Now if you aren’t a cheese ball kind of person, don’t fret.

I also show you had to make this into a Cookie Dough Cheesecake Dip.

We’ve taken this tasty treat to bridal showers, Christmas parties, Tailgate parties and surprisingly even tea parties!

There isn’t a place I can think of where this isn’t welcome!

Another idea is to whip up a batch and give it as a gift!

We’ve done this with teachers, neighbors and friends!

This fun and unique twist on a classic appetizer is a great way to introduce yourself and others to something outside the box.

Once you try this, you’ll never go back to a traditional cheese ball again.

OK, you probably will.

However, you’ll always love this more!

If you need an easy appetizer or dessert to take to your next party, give this one a try!

    • You’ll have to let me know what you think. But seriously, plan on an extra long run tomorrow because I am hopeless when it comes to eating this. I cannot stop.

  1. I am going to make for The RS meeting next week. I think that with the graham crackers I will offer pretzel chips as well. Should make for a good combo.

    • Vicki,
The pretzel chips sound like the perfect companion. Sweet and salty! I’ll have to try that next time I make this. Please tell everyone hi for me at the next meeting! I just know this will be a huge hit!! Thanks for your love and support!

      • It was a hit. I couldn’t find the flips but did put out pretzels and they were yummy. A request for Superbowl party tomorrow night. I did use it as the dip version instead of ball. will definitely keep this in my possible party menu in the future.

        • Vicki! I’m so glad to hear that it was a hit! It always is! Leaving it as a dip is a great idea! You’ll have to try it with graham crackers too! It’s our favorite way!
