How Long Does Herb Butter Last?
This easy homemade herb butter can last up to a week in the fridge.
For longer storage, you can freeze it for up to 3 months.
I don’t recommend storing it on the counter, but you can if you want it really soft.
I enjoy room temperature butter too!
But you’ll have to consume it pretty quickly if you store it that way.
The more it chills in the fridge, the better the flavor!
How to Store Herb Butter?
Store your log of butter in an airtight container in the fridge.
I like to keep it wrapped in plastic wrap and then in a container on top of that.
That way it stays so fresh.
You can also wrap it in plastic wrap and place it in a freezer-safe container.
That would be for much longer storage.
