I would say yes! This is a healthy pumpkin soup recipe!
With ingredients like pumpkin purée that’s rich in nutrients and a moderate amount of heavy cream, it’s a balanced dish.
For a healthier pumpkin soup recipe, consider using vegetable broth and a dairy-free cream.
Though that all depends on your version of health and which website you read it seems to me!
Any time I can sneak fruit or veggies in and the kids eat it? That’s a win!

You can absolutely make this delicious soup ahead of time!
The flavors actually get even better when made ahead and stored in an airtight container overnight!
Warm it up on medium heat the next day.
You can also warm it up in the microwave but be sure to use a microwave safe bowl and stir occasionally.

Is Creamy Pumpkin Soup Good?
This delicious creamy pumpkin soup recipe is so good! Actually it’s more than good; it’s a bowl of fall coziness!
I know some people just dread all the pumpkin things this time of year. But this soup actually isn’t too pumpkin-y. (That’s totally a word by the way!)
I find the flavor is just perfect. Not too much pumpkin but just the right amount. I love it!
Is Creamy Pumpkin Soup Keto?
I believe this creamy pumpkin soup is keto.
With the heavy cream and low-carb pumpkin, this could easily fit into some keto and paleo diets.
However, I’m not a keto or paleo or whatever diet specific website!
So be sure to check the ingredients and make sure they fit in your own particular diet plans.
Can Dogs Eat Creamy Pumpkin Soup?
No! Dogs definitely can’t eat creamy pumpkin soup.
Pumpkin is good for dogs all by itself actually.
But it’s best to avoid feeding them this soup due to the onions and heavy cream.
Heavy cream is hard for them to process and onions are actually toxic for them! So avoid them!
In general any cozy soups (those with cream) are going to not be good for dogs.

This soup is delicious. I added 1T dried cilantro (because i did not have any fresh on hand), and 1/2t cumin to give it a more “Mexican” flair. Very happy with the results. Will make again!
