Can I just start off by saying I am so excited to be posing this Mango Salsa?

It’s been a regular item in our fridge for a good two months. 

In fact, I’m fairly certain I still have some in there, right next to the Cilantro Lime Dressing I am also obsessed with.

We have enjoyed this Mango Salsa as is with regular tortilla chips, with ginger chips, on chicken, in tacos and believe it or not, on hot dogs.

So far, it’s been absolutely delicious on every single item.

Some of these ideas might seem a bit strange or odd, but trust me, they were all delicious!

This Mango Salsa is such a simple salsa to toss together and tastes pretty much awesome on anything. 

I’m quite tempted to add it to my burgers the next time we grill out!

However if adding mangoes to meat sounds odd, then go old school traditional.

Just eat it as a dip with classic tortilla chips. Yum Yum! 

The only issue with this is that I am the worst at cutting mangoes. I literally butcher them. 

And because I butcher them, it takes me an extra 5 or 10 minutes than the average person to cut, peel and dice them.  Ugh.

Please tell me I’m not the only who hates cutting mangoes!?!

Which is why I’m going to be nabbing myself one of these handy tools so that cutting a mango is a simple and easy process.

Despite my complete lack of eloquently dicing a mango, I love this salsa and keep coming back for more. 

The flavors are simple, powerful and blend together so well.

Seriously, try this Mango salsa as is or on your favorite meat. 

It’s pretty much amazing.

Total Time: 1 hour, 5 minutes

Yield: 6 Servings


  • 2 mangoes, peeled, pitted & diced
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1 jalapeno seeded & diced
  • 3 green onions, sliced thinly
  • 1/3 cup fresh cilantro, coarsely chopped
  • 1 bell pepper diced


  1. In a bowl combine all ingredients.
  2. Chill in fridge for 1 our or longer.
