What are Guacamole Deviled Eggs?

Deviled eggs are a classic appetizer or side dish where hard-boiled eggs are halved and the egg yolks are removed.

The yolks are then mashed and mixed with ingredients like mayonnaise, mustard, and seasonings to create a creamy filling.

This filling is then piped or spooned back into the hollowed egg whites.

The term “deviled” in this context refers to the spicy or zesty nature of the filling, which originally was made with mustard, pepper, and other spices.

Over time, the recipe has evolved to include a variety of seasonings and additions, such as paprika, dill, relish, bacon, and even avocado (like this recipe!)

Deviled eggs a favorite at potlucks, picnics, parties, and holiday gatherings.

Deviled eggs with avocado are a fun twist on traditional deviled eggs.

Instead of mayo, you’ll use guacamole. It’s healthier and it tastes just as yummy!
