- Parmesan cheese: enhances the flavor of the breadcrumb coating
- Paprika: adds a subtle smokiness to the dish
- Cheesy Alfredo sauce: provides a creamy, rich base for the dish
- Tomato: adds a touch of freshness and acidity
- Sliced mushrooms: adds earthiness and depth to the dish
- Garlic and green onions: adds flavor and aroma to the mushroom sauce
- Red wine or cranberry juice: deglazes the pan and adds depth to the mushroom sauce
- Mozzarella cheese: creates a gooey, melty topping
- Precooked egg noodles: serves as a satisfying and complementary base for the dish
Pro Tips:
- Use high quality ingredients for better flavor.

Is Chicken Parmesan Italian
Mushroom Chicken Parmesan is an Italian-American dish that originated from the Italian dish called “Melanzane alla Parmigiana” (Eggplant Parmesan).
The dish was adapted in the United States using chicken instead of eggplant and became a popular staple in Italian-American cuisine.
Personally I prefer the chicken, but if you’re going more vegetarian, the eggplant is a great option too.
Either way, you’ll find the parmesan garlic sauce adds lots of flavor and pairs well with both.

This looks pretty amazing! I love mushrooms, but only one of my kids does. I will make it anyway, and he and I will eat all the mushrooms ourselves! :) Pinning and stumbling!
