Chili Dog Casserole

Once upon a time, my Mother-in-Law and I (and several amazing friends) planned and fed a large crowd of volunteers after a long day of service.

The menu was simple.  Pull Pork Sandwiches and Hot Dogs.

Our pulled pork estimated count was perfect.  Exactly the perfect amount (and I mean nothing left) of the pulled pork.  However we had over estimated our hot dog count.  After the event, and giving quite a few hot dogs away for people to take home, we still had a lot.

We ate hot dogs for two days and then realized that we had to figure out a way to use them all up.  That’s when I stumbled upon this easy recipe.  We like chili and we like hot dogs and we really like chili dogs, so why not do a Chili Dog Casserole?

That is when I stumbled upon this recipe.  Easy, quick and we all loved it!  It reheated well the next day for lunch and was a way to use up some of the extra hot dogs and buns we were left with!

If your family loves Chili Dogs, why not try this Chili Dog Casserole?!
