Bacon Dipped in Chocolate Ganache

 

In our house we love bacon.  

In fact, on the day this photo was taken, we had bacon for breakfast, lunch and dessert.

My 4 year old had four full slices of bacon for lunch {that was it} this day and I’m pretty sure I received Mom of the Day award!  Go me!

So what is the deal with bacon?  There isn’t a right or wrong way to eat it and thus far I’m pretty sure it goes well with everything.

You can eat it whole, diced, chopped, crumbled, put it inside something or wrap something with it.  

No matter what you do with it, or how you do it, there is no wrong way to eat bacon.  

The reality is, that I’ve come across a few skeptics when it comes to this recipe.  Bacon dipped in chocolate ganache,  Really?

YES really.  In fact, if you don’t believe me on the tastiness of this, then I’ll make it for you.  Really.  

The two ingredient Chocolate Ganache is simple and delicious and when you take a salty slab of bacon and dip it into the thick chocolate sauce, you get heaven.  I highly encourage double, or triple dipping when it comes to this dish.

In fact, bacon dipped in chocolate ganache is something that is SO easy that it makes a great appetizer or dessert for any gathering!  Go on! Give it a shot.  No one turns down bacon!

Instructions

Make Chocolate Ganache ahead of time or cook it while making bacon {if you can multi-task}. When temperature and thickness are reached, dip precooked bacon into sauce and enjoy! Double and triple dipping are encouraged!
