Chocolate Covered Fluffernutter Bites

Sharing is caring!

So I came up with this idea and, not to talk myself up or anything, it is a brilliant one.

Now, Snyder’s does make something similar (without the marshmallow) and we really enjoy them.

But, they’re only available during the holiday season.

Since when is peanut butter and chocolate seasonal?

Well I thought if I was going to make them myself I might as well improve them as well.

And if I do say so myself, it was genius.

They’re delicious and you should make them.

They’re easy.

But to be honest, it takes less time to eat them all than to make them.

Still worth it.

Ingredients

  • 1 bag pretzel Snaps or Butter Snaps
  • peanut butter
  • marshmallow fluff
  • 2 bags milk chocolate chips

Instructions

Spread about 1/2 teaspoon peanut butter on each of half of the pretzel squares.
Spread about the same amount of fluff on each of the other pretzels. Put one peanut butter pretzel together with one fluffernutter pretzel to make sandwiches.
Place on wax paper on a cookie sheet.
Place in the freezer for at least 30 minutes.
Meanwhile, melt 1/2 of the chocolate according to the package melting instructions. Now, you could use chocolate candy coating, but really it's much better with real milk chocolate.
Take just a few sandwiches out of the freezer at a time and cover them in chocolate.
Letting the excess drip off, place each on wax paper to set.
Repeat with the rest of the sandwiches. Try not to eat all of them by yourself.
