I love this season! It’s all things apple! It’s all things pumpkin! And it’s all things my favorite!

I promise you, you can get a warm apple pie dip with not a lot of work.

Anything that doesn’t require a lot of work is my specialty! Here’s how to make it:

  2. Cook until the apples are tender and the mixture has thickened.

You can absolutely prepare this hot apple pie dip ahead of time! 

This dip can be prepared a day ahead and stored in the refrigerator. 

Just warm it up slightly before serving.

How to Serve Apple Pie Dip?

Serve this homemade apple dip warm or at room temperature. Either way works.

I think it fits just fine into a small casserole dish or a 9-inch pie dish. 

Drizzling a bit of caramel sauce on top? Yeah it’s so yummy looking that I don’t think anyone can resist!

What to Serve with Apple Pie Dip?

Apple dip can usually be served with anything that can be dipped.

Graham crackers, pie crust chips or cookies, cinnamon chips recipe, and Nilla wafers are all excellent choices.

You actually can freeze this warm apple dip.

While best enjoyed fresh, you can freeze it in an airtight container. 

Thaw at room temperature before reheating.

And then you can reheat on the stove or in the microwave.

If you reheat in the microwave, be sure you don’t let it get too hot! If your apples start exploding? They’ve gone too long!

How to Store Leftover Apple Pie Dip?

You can easily store any leftover dip in the refrigerator.

Though how you got leftovers is totally beyond me! This stuff is gone in 5 minutes flat over here!

Always be sure to store it in an airtight container to keep it fresh.

The dip will stay good for 3-4 days.

Can Dogs Eat Apple Pie Dip?

Dog’s probably shouldn’t eat this tasty dip.

While apples are safe for dogs, the added sugar and other ingredients might not be. 

It’s best to keep this treat for humans only!

Instructions

  1. In a medium pot over medium heat, combine apples, lemon juice, brown sugar and cinnamon.
  2. Cook until mixture is boiling and apples are cooked and soft.
  3. In a small bowl combine cornstarch and water.
  4. Add cornstarch mixture to the apples and continue to cook until apples glaze is nice and thick.
  5. Serve with pie crust cookies or cinnamon sugar tortilla chips (both can be found on our website)
