This Bacon, Lettuce & Tomato Salad is as easy and tasty as they come and a perfect addition to your next meal!
I suspect when you saw this, you probably said to yourself something to the effect of, what an easy recipe.
Though really, did one need to put down in writing exactly how to make a bacon, lettuce & tomato salad?
I mean, isn’t it just as easy as Bacon…Lettuce… & Tomatoes… all tossed together?
Why yes, yes it is.
Add a few croutons & your favorite dressing and you’ve got yourself a very easy and delicious side.
The reason though that I “created” this recipe, if you can actually call it that, is because sometimes the best most wonderful things are so obvious that they are hidden from our sight.
Take for example my all time favorite potato chip dip.
It’s called Sour Cream Dip.
And if you click over to that recipe, you’ll also say, that was a dumb recipe.
However what you don’t realize is that it’s so easy that most people don’t even think about it.
UNTIL they try it. Then suddenly they are hooked, just as you will be.
This Bacon, Lettuce & Tomato salad is very basic and simple.
But have you ever had a Bacon, Lettuce & Tomato Salad?
I suspect you’ve had a BLT sandwich or a BLT wrap and maybe even a BLT omelet.
But perhaps never a salad. Really it only makes sense.
And why wouldn’t you want to have this on your dinner table?
Really, anything with bacon is a winner and by adding it to a salad, it suddenly turns bacon into a “healthy” food, thus giving you the excuse that you can eat bacon on your diet.
Do you like my logic? I sure do!
I served this salad at a luncheon and it was gone in minutes. It was simple to toss together, and absolutely delicious!
